 St Lawrence, Ipswich

Inside, September 1999

A view of the chancel arch. The cable is the churches only electricity supply. The built up nave floor seems to be used for storing the contents of someone's house.

Masonry litters the north wall. The large hunk of wood seems to be part of a bell support beam.. Other sections of the bell mechanism can be found around the church.

Blessed are they that mourn.... Another view of the north wall. The benches are supported by breeze blocks.

The terrible condition of the floor can be clearly seen from this view of the south wall. At the far end, a large amount of rubble has come down from the south-east corner of the nave roof.
